TERMS OF TRADE

PRINTS AND CARDS

PRINTS: High Quality Photographic Prints and Cards. Photographs are supplied as Prints only not as a digital download. Only posted within the UK.

PRINT QUALITY:
1- Due to the difference in colour calibration of monitors and printers and their respective colour gamuts there may be some difference in the colour of the print from that which is viewed online, on your monitor. The Company cannot accept any liability for this difference.
2- All items will be subject to quality control before being dispatched. This is due to the items being printed by a third party and if this needs correction will entail additional effort. The aim is to give you the highest quality print possible.

COPYRIGHT:
No images or prints can be scanned, photocopied, reproduced, re photographed, copied or duplicated in any format, film, digital, anything, all being copyrighted all rights reserved to the creative artist D.R.Knock. No images can be added to Facebook, Twitter or used or transmitted for use on any social networking sites without written permission from the copyright owner as named above. In short dont even think about it! Any use or copy right issue will be pursued through legal channels. There will be images released for such use in due course and these will be sent out to Facebook and Twitter recipients.

PAYMENT:
1-Payment must be made at the time of placing the order.
2- Invoice for cost including postage and packing will be emailed within 48 hours to the customer. This will act as notification of receipt of payment.
3- Payment may be made by the following methods;
(a) Paypal
(b) Direct Transfer- details will be made available should you wish to choose this option. Please include your name as reference on the transfer.
(c) Cheque or Postal Order- this may entail a delay of 3-5 days for clearance before dispatch. Address for correspondence will be made available should you choose this method.

Please include personal and orders details with the Paypal Payment, cheque or P/O.

DELIVERY:
1- All items will be dispatched within 14 days of receipt of payment by recorded/insured post via Royal Mail. Additional time may be required for the clearance of cheques.
2- Any damage must be notified immediately upon receipt of goods via email only.
3- If the item is damaged in transit to the customer and found damaged on delivery then the claim for this damage will be made from Royal Mail by the company. To do this full details of the delivery time and digital photos etc of the damage will need to be forwarded so this claim can be made. Failure to provide these details and thus inhibit this claim to cover loss will invalidate the refund process.
4- Damaged items will be replaced at no extra charge by the seller.

RETURNS:
1- Any returns by what ever means must be adequately insured against loss and damage, the cost of which is at the Customers expense.
2- Proof of sending is not regarded as proof of receipt.
3- It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure adequate insurance/packaging and that proof of delivery can be obtained.
4- Any returns must be notified to the company via email only and must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.
5- Confirmation of receipt of returned items will be made by email and refund will be made within 7 days of safe, undamaged receipt of that item.
6- Any item returned that is damaged in transit from the Customer to the Company, will be the Customer's responsibility, and the Customer will be liable for seeking compensation from the courier or mail service that the Customer has used.
7- Should the Customer fail to have the item insured the Customer accepts full responsibility for any subsequent loss or damage with no refund if the item is damaged or lost in the post.

REFUNDS:
1- A full refund of cost of item and outward postage costs is dependent upon the safe return of the item in as new and saleable condition with 7 days of receipt of the item.
2- The Customer is responsible for the return cost of the item and this should be insured against loss or damage in transit. This cost is non refundable, only the cost of the item and the original postage cost will be refunded.
3- Notification of any damage should be made via email immediately upon receipt.
4- If the item is damaged in transit to the customer then proof of the damage has to be forwarded, together with full details so the company can recover the cost from the Royal Mail. A refund would be contingent upon full support from the customer to achieve this.
5- Cancellation of an order will incur a 15% levy to cover cost of materials. These costs are incurred as no stock is held and each print is specially commissioned.

CANCELLATION OF ORDER:
1- Cancellation of orders made before the date of dispatch will incur a 15% levy to material costs since each print is a commission and not drawn from stock.
2- Cancellation of an order for any reason other than damage will incur a 15% levy to cover cost of materials.
3- Cancellation must be made within 7 days of receipt of items. Beyond 7 days returns will not be accepted and no refund will be made.
4- If due to circumstances beyond our control for example with the printer of the prints then the buyer will be advised of any delay beyond the 7 days of receipt of payment so the customer may exercise their right of cancellation of the order for a full refund.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
By paying for an order it is assumed the customer has read and agreed to the terms and conditions specified above.
